Blossom 02:54
hallucinate your mind in time
 let it float away
hallucinate that you are mine
let it float away
 all along you were wrong
you let it float away
hallucinate it won't be long
let it float away
 away
away
away
away
2.
Snapper 03:44
daffodilly petals are in bloom
the moment you walk into the room
and each time that i ask you to come in
your head puts my head into a spin
reaching unknown destinations tonight
ride with me i'll take you out of sight confusion rules where once was sane
patterns in my brain spell out your name t
his could be coming just in time
love you so much it blows my mind
ride with me i'll take you out of sight
3.
Liars 03:18
you can't buy her
always deny her
you can't find her
always deny her
elevating time
leave it all behind
liars
liars
4.
Butterfly 03:12
investigating all that is wrong with this place
leaving an impression of you
only thing missing what's wrong with this face
leaving an impression of you
how can i get out of here and get out alive
leaving an impression of you
i'll follow you until you get lost in the sky
 following a butterfly
5.
The Ride 04:22
i woke up dead and you were there
there you were on my bed
telling me the sun was blue
and there wasn't anything else to do
we took the sled and got the tree
for christmas day you and me
it was big and shiny like a million story airplane standing on its side
we got on and took a ride
the captain said you better hide
no one knows where we're going to
no one knows what we're gonna do
we flew past jupiter we flew past mars
our friends drove by us in their cars
you didn't care neither did i
on this ride we're going to fly
lets do it for the ride
go along for the ride
its a day and nighttime trip
i think i think we're going to flip
look out for the twists
 there's one we almost missed
look out for the twists
there's one we almost missed
its a day and nighttime trip i think i think we're gonna flip
its a day and nighttime trip i think i think we're gonna flip
6.
Iguana 03:30
iguana, you're lying awake
think of all the things you take
think of all the love you make
you know it's true
iguana, it's you
iguana you're lying all baked
thoughts you cannot fake
come sailing on your lake
you know it's true
iguana, it's you
7.
just wondering
its alright to light this fire here
just wandering around
colliding senses
would you like to see umbrella smiles
that last for a million years
just wondering
its alright to see your memories
just wandering around
 colliding senses
would you like to be
umbrella smiling
through the darkest seas
come on
8.
i hear you scream
you dream obscene
taking these trips and visits and the fear is gone
i'll visit your mother
i'll visit your brother
but i won't visit you at the funny farm
i hear you scream
lets go over
next to my place
taking these trips and visits then the fear is gone
come on along now
and bring your dolls
taking these trips and visits then the fear is gone
i'll visit your mother
i'll visit your brother
but i won't visit you at the funny farm
i hear you scream

Mary Anne 04:18
Mary Anne, hold my hand
Pretty babe, I understand
You say it’s time to grab it blind
Cheering crowds they screw my mind
Just one time, I tell you now
Do your thing girl and do it loud
The desert sand, the secret plan
Lord’s own knowledge is in your hand
Grab a hold and ride that freight
Be yourself, don’t hesitate

Mary Anne, hold my hand
Pretty babe, I understand
You say it’s time to grab it blind
Cheering crowds they screw my mind
Just one time, that’s all I ask
To do my thing, girl, and do it fast
The desert sand, the secret plan
Lord’s own knowledge is in your hand
Grab a hold and ride that freight
Be yourself, don’t hesitate

Mary Anne, hold my hand
Pretty babe, I understand
You say it’s time to grab it blind
Cheering crowds they screw my mind
Just one time, I tell you now
Do your thing girl and do it loud
The desert sand, the secret plan
Lord’s own knowledge is in your hand
Grab a hold and ride that freight
Be yourself, don’t hesitate

Jamba 05:17
float me through the ocean
letting me slip in
flying around the sun now
let you on the ship again
the walls are really bending
letting me slip in
my mind starts pretending
rollercoaster jumps the track again
stuff in all the things that couldn't fit
too many sounds there goes another hit

about

He Fell Into The Sky (1994) is the first full length album released on CD by Tadpoles. The album was also the first CD album release on Bakery Records, the Tadpoles' label. The album was remastered and rereleased on both CD and cassette on Bakery Records in 1997 with the addition of credits and photographs for drummer, Michael Kite Audino, who performed on the album but left the group before it was released.

“a textured mindscape of sound which is immediately familiar, instinctively attractive” –ALTERNATIVE PRESS (Stephen Braitman, Dec ‘94)
“the amphetamine energy they bring to every song makes them sound utterly contemporary” –MAGNET (Andrew Johnston, #14, Dec.‘94)
“Tadpoles create dirgey, swirling drug rock that entrances as it intoxicates” –CMJ MUSIC MARATHON GUIDE (Sept. 1994)
“I wish this CD came with some acid.” –FLIPSIDE (#91, Sept 1994) “each song is psychotically composed and produced to mouth foaming effect”
–BRAIN DAMAGE (March-April ‘95 issue)
